Sailing Courses in Platja d’Aro

At Set Sail Costa Brava we work with the aim of bringing the exciting world of sailing closer to the greatest number of people, both children and adults. We love this sport as a fun way to enjoy together with our friends and fellow adventurers.

Our sailing courses are the best for initiation in this sport, getting more practice and improving knowledge. As the sailing school of the Club Nàutic de Port d’Aro you will also have the option to go further and continue to be part of a regatta team to start in the world of competition.

With our instructors, you will begin to know the different directions, maneuvers, a lot of specific vocabulary and you will end up sailing hanging from the boat on the trapeze. We will use all the sails: main sail, jib and genaker, making tacks and gybes.

The sailing school has different types of boats in order to achieve the objective of our courses and private lessons: group, double and individual.

We adapt to your level, the limit is up to you!

Preparing the New Sailors … !!! (From 7 years old)

Schedule:

Mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Afternoons from 4.00 to 7.00 p.m.

Price:

Course 5 days from Monday to Friday € 190
Compulsory accident insurance € 5

Weekly sailing courses from Monday to Friday both in the morning and in the afternoon in order to learn to sail with all our boats. The initiation levels will sail with the “Raqueros” always with the support of the instructors on board. Students who acquire more knowledge and who are already in a position to sail alone will do so, with the Pixxys, with the well-known Optmist or with the LASER PICO.

The older ones will be able to sail in the RS Quest and RS Vision double boats, much lighter and faster.

For adults we recommend the afternoon schedule where sea and wind conditions tend to be a little more demanding.
