Windsurfing is a complete, dynamic and fun sport, ideal both for beginners and for improving technique, always in direct contact with the flora and fauna of the Costa Brava.

Available options
This course is designed for those who want to learn windsurfing from scratch or gradually improve their skills. Over several days, you’ll learn the essentials to become independent on the water.
During the course you will work on concepts such as:
- Table balance and control
- Use of the sail and harnessing the wind
- Navigation courses
- Turns and gybes
Our goal is that by the end of the course you will be able to navigate safely and confidently.

Private windsurfing lessons are ideal if you want to learn at your own pace or perfect specific aspects of sailing.
The instructor adapts the session to your level and goals, to make the most of your time in the water.
A perfect option if you’re looking for a more personalized experience or have limited availability.

- If you already have basic knowledge, you can also join the course group on the days you prefer.
- Group windsurfing session (2 hours): €50
If you already have experience, you can opt for windsurfing equipment rental on the Costa Brava and sail at your own pace, choosing the day and duration that best suits you.
We have specific equipment for different levels and wind conditions.

Do you want to learn windsurfing
with us in Playa de Aro?
At Set Sail we offer windsurfing courses on the Costa Brava throughout the summer season, with morning and afternoon options, as well as private lessons throughout the year and equipment rental.
We work with specific learning materials, boards with a volume of 190 to 220 liters and sails from 1.5 to 5.2 m², ideal for progressing safely.
The groups are small, with a maximum of 5 students per instructor, who leads the sessions from a support boat, away from bathers, buoyed areas and surf breaks.
Before we begin
You don’t need any prior experience to get started in windsurfing.
The sessions are always held in safe and controlled areas, designed to allow for calm and confident learning.
During the session
The open and unobstructed environment allows you to focus on sailing and the sensations of windsurfing.
It’s an active, fun, and very rewarding experience, where every improvement is noticeable from day one.
